Patient Advocate
The Patient Advocate membership category is designed bring a patient or parent’s unique and important viewpoints and voice into MaGIC, and to help guide and advise the consortium on its research endeavors. This membership is targeted to patients with a past history of germ cell tumors, parents of children who have had germ cell tumors, or other advocates who are passionate about the study of germ cell tumors. A science or research background is not required for this role, as advocates will be matched with a members of MaGIC to help facilitate understanding of more scientific discussions.
